The furniture in the gallery is produced in West Cumbria by Cumbria Wood Sculpture. Each piece is individually hand crafted using recycled timbers. Much of the wood originates from Whitehaven Castle which dates back to 1769. Individual pieces can be made to order. Please contact the gallery for details. The furniture is very simple yet stylish in design to emphasise the beautiful wood grain. Some of the pieces incorporate the original historic markings made by craftsmen over 200 years ago.
